CREATING AN INSPIRING TRAINING ENVIRONMENT

When we first began discussing the training centres, our aims were very clear: to change the way training was delivered in roofing.

We have thrown out the old norms, the repetitive rigs, the simplified exercises, and our design process was clear. We wanted challenging and comprehensive roof set-ups, real-life situations in a workshop environment, and above all, for the student experience to be exciting and inspiring.

TEACHING WITH EXCELLENCE

We have worked hard to bring the very best tutors, craftspeople and assessors in the country to deliver training and accreditation, passing down invaluable knowledge and real-life experience to our students.

All our tutors are themselves highly skilled, with many decades of experience in the roofing industry. This team is paramount to the ethos of our centres and is the backbone of our educational goals.

Both centres also carry the ‘Richard Murdoch Training Centre for Excellence’ accolade among many other industry-recognised accreditations.

"I thoroughly enjoyed training at NCTS/Master Roofers Training Academy. The tutor was brilliant and really helped me expand my knowledge. The training centre up in Salford was amazing and was really well kitted out for the course. I think Master Roofers is really taking a step in the right direction for the Roofing industry"
Lewis Bristol
"Our experienced roofer trained at the Salford facility and found the premises excellent for the courses on offer. He already had leadwork experience however without an official certificate. Regardless of this he came to learn and improve his welding techniques and knowledge. He found the tutors teaching ability incredible and returned to us with more confidence and capabilities. He noted that the others on the course were humble enough to be open to new learning and expel their bad practices that are commonly picked up over time."
Heritage Roofing Burnley
"Fantastic course for our staff who have all returned to work more confident, enthused and with more knowledge to carry out work to a better standard. We are really pleased and will be booking 2 more guys on in the very near future"
Taylor Roofing
"I have really enjoyed the lead welding course and I can now go and put what I learned into practice on site"

"The facility in Hoddesdon is brilliant, so much to do and see there and something for everyone in the roofing world"

The pay as you train scheme

This scheme is an initiative to make training and learning affordable for all.

How does it work?

It can work in one of these two ways:

1. You can pay for your training in instalments (usually four instalments for a five-day training course).

2. For bigger courses like the pathway courses or courses which run into ten or 15 days, you can separate the training schedule into five-day (one-week) blocks and pay for them in a more manageable way.

We can advise you on available course dates which give you time to pay before you come to the centres. All courses need to paid up in full at least three weeks before your course is due to start.
