Established in 1957, Filon Products is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) construction products.

The Filon product range includes profiled GRP rooflights and roof sheets, valley gutters, and flat sheet products for signage and other applications. In addition to GRP products, we offer a range of ancillary products like our ground-breaking rooflight replacement system, Fixsafe and the popular Over-Roof system, both perfect solutions for failing asbestos and fibre cement roofs. Our long track record of developing and marketing innovative products has resulted in many of these becoming accepted industry standards.

Alongside the GRP rooflight and roof sheet range, Filon has also been producing our GRP valley gutters by continuous process since the 1980’s. Our ‘V-Flow’ valleys and the new, innovative ‘Heritage’ valley are manufactured from lead grey GRP, to provide a cost-effective alternative to traditional lead roof gutters. Filon offer a complete range of valleys for use with natural or man-made slates and clay or concrete tiles. The range also carries BBA Certification (No 07/4492).

Our premises in Burntwood, Staffordshire houses state of the art manufacturing facilities for profiled and flat GRP sheets, and valley troughs. The Filon process for manufacturing GRP has been developed and refined over many years to provide a unique product that has outstanding properties, and our plant also carries ISO 14001 environmental accreditation and is operated in accordance with our BS EN ISO 9001 accredited quality management programme.
