With the update of BS 5250: Management of moisture in buildings – Code of practice, there has been an increasing awareness of how higher levels of thermal insulation can result in increased condensation in the roof space.  It is therefore vital to ensure that there are adequate sources of ventilation.

Danelaw® have launched their new interlocking plain tile vent.  The TV 10/11 is compatible with Forticrete Gemini, Forticrete Minislate, Marley Ashmore and BMI (Redland) Duo Plain.  Easy to install, the vent requires no batten cutting, and is designed to replace one interlocking double plain concrete tile to complete an uninterrupted roofscape.

Made from polypropylene, the vent is available in Antique Red, Brown, and Slate Grey.  The TV 10/11 has an industry leading airflow of 8500mm², meaning the roof space will require less ventilators to prevent condensation.
